Everything we do impacts the world around us. We’re contributing towards teaching Organic Farmers in developing communities. We’re helping them, we’re helping ourselves..

Oxfam - Seeds of Change

It isn’t enough anymore just to serve good food. Today you have to pay as much attention to where the food came from, and whether it was properly cared for while it was still in the ground. This is not just a food thing. It is a way of life thing and we feel fortunate to be able to make what we do and feel good about it as well.

We’re paying attention to the organic credentials of every bit of food we use. Each and every ingredient. Now we’re starting to check back on where and how our ingredients were farmed. We’re fortunate enough to be a company that only makes vegetarian foods. But still we now want to make sure that the farmers whose crops we use achieve organic status with integrity.

Now we’re taking it a step further. We’ve started, in a small way, to put money into training organic farmers in the Oceania region. We figure that it is a business with a significant future and that we’d better invest in the farmer if we want continuity and quality of supply.

We know you appreciate every extra effort we make – and that makes it worth it for us.

You’ll notice that we’ve designed a ‘Seeds of Change’ logo to support this programme.  For us it is the beginning of a long-term commitment to do as much good in the making of our foods as in the eating. Click here to pledge your support (link to Oxfam page)
